MURIC COMMISSERATES WITH DEFENDER’S MANAGER

The death has been announced of Alhaji Imran Shittu Awosanya, a former official of Learnards Industries Limited. The late Imran is the father of the Administrative Manager of the Defender newspaper, Hajia Basirat Shittu-Adefaka. He died on Saturday, 20^th July, 2019.

Meanwhile an Islamic human rights organization, the Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC), has commisserated with the eldest daughter of the deceased, Hajia Basirat, her husband, Prince Bashir Adefaka and the entire crew of the Defender newspaper.

In the message of condolence issued early on Wednesday, 24^th July, 2019, MURIC pleaded with the family to regard the deceased’s death as a blessing in disguise since it spared the younger ones and it occurred long after his retirement.

“We urge those left behind by Pa Imran Shittu Awosanya to keep aloft his golden ideals of self-satisfaction, asceticism, hardwork and high level discipline.”
