TIJANI BORODO WILL TAKE SIGNATURE BANK TO THE NEXT LEVEL –

The Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC), has
congratulated Alhaji Tijani Borodo on his recent appointment as the chairman of
Signature Bank. The group described Alhaji Borodo as the man whom the cap fits.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, 10th
December, 2024 by the group’s Executive Director, Professor Ishaq Akintola, MURIC
rejoiced with the new chairman and expressed confidence in his ability to take Signature
Bank to the next level.

said, “Alhaji Tijani Borodo, LLM, FIoD, FCIS, the Founding and Principal
Partner of Tijjani M Borodo & Associates recently became the
chairman of Signature Bank. It is a well-deserved appointment. Signature Bank definitely
knows how to get performers. We congratulate him and we commend the bank for giving
the lofty position to the man whom the cap fits. We have no scintilla of doubt
that Alhaji Tijani Borodo will take Signature Bank to the next level.
“As
the 18th president of the Chartered Institute of Directors Nigeria
(CIoDN) and chairman of the Governing Council of the institute, we expect the
bank to grow in leaps and bounds as Borodo injects tons of administrative
dynamism accruing from decades of experience.
“Alhaji Tijani Borodo was the pioneer Company
Secretary of FBN Holdings Plc. He retired from FBNHoldings in October 2017
after a successful career spanning over 29 years at the First Bank Group.
“He holds a law degree from the Ahmadu Bello
University, Zaria and a master’s in law degree from the University of Essex,
United Kingdom. Borodo has attended courses and programmes in various first-class
business and management schools outside Nigeria including Harvard Business
School, the London College of Management Studies, University of Pennsylvania, the
Wharton School and Kellogg School of Management, Illinois. He also has a robust
board experience as a director of several prestigious companies.
