RUSSIA/CHINA VETO OF UN RESOLUTION: THE HEN HAS FINALLY COME HOME TO ROOST Both Russia and China today vetoed a UN resolution condemning Syrian extreme measures against unarmed protesters. The United State is screaming blue murder. US statements refer to the veto as 'shameful'. But when did the US readmit the word 'shame' into its national vocabulary? How can this veto be strange when America itself has authored several vetoes to frustrate the rest of the world each time Israel massacred innocent Palestinians including women and children? I am not rubber-stamping Syrian crackdown on protesters, but the US, Britain, France, Germany and the rest of their ilk should stop playing 'the-pot-calling-the-kettle-black'.
